Cotton Patch Gospel
This “Greatest Story Ever Retold” is based on the book “The Cotton Patch Version of Matthew and John” by Clarence Jordan in with the Gospel is presented in a setting of rural Georgia with country music songs, the final and best work of Harry Chapin. As this Gospel begins they sing that “Somethin’s a-brewin’ in Gainesville.” Herod is the mayor of Atlanta and, inevitably, Chris is lynched by local thugs only to rise again.

Since 1964, The Barn Dinner Theatre has been dedicated to providing a quality dining experience along with a Broadway-style performance, or as we like to call it... Dinnertainment. We are proud to be the oldest continually operating dinner theatre in the United States. Your evening will begin with our Southern-style buffet which features entrees such as roast beef and baked chicken coupled with seasonal Southern side dishes. There will be several cold bar items to choose from, as well as desert options available. Our friendly waitstaff will take your beverage orders from your table and assist you with any additional needs. After dinner the buffet will be cleared so that our “magic stage” can take its place in the center of the theatre for your performance to begin. The full Dinnertainment experience will last approximately 3.5 - 4 hours from the time you are seated until the final bows are given.
The Barn Dinner Theatre has ample free parking for all patrons in attendance along with several designated spots for motorcoaches.
